Inyo County Grand Jury Needs You!

If you're unfamiliar with the grand jury process, it is a group of citizens who are tasked as officers of the court to investigate agencies within the county government. They need a minimum of eight, but really need eleven so that it will exist for the 2023-24 fiscal year.
They are struggling to find enough people, so if you are interested, the application is here:

John Shepherd, a current jurist, is hoping folks will volunteer to join the grand jury. They are empowered to investigate, interview people, and issue subpoenas to make sure our county government is doing what they are supposed to be doing, with no malfeasance. It is very important, so I hope if you have an inclination to be involved, please do apply.
